DATING STORIES

Alright! We have our very first dating story! Thanks Anonymous!

DATING STORY ONE

So I met this guy on Tinder. I saw his picture. He had long blond hair and kind of reminded me of my favourite band growing up. He looked like Kurt Cobain.

We talked for a while, maybe two weeks or more. It’s hard to say for this dating world. You talk to so many people for so long and you lose track of who does what and how you feel about whoever. But I remembered him because my opening question to him had been “Hey Kurt Cobain! How are you doing?”

Instantly, I thought maybe that was a bad opening line, lol, but he kind of laughed, didn’t fully acknowledge it, but kind of got what I was going for. So, maybe not too bad, lol. It wasn’t long before we made a plan to hang out or I guess go out for a date and to meet at a pub that was close to my house.

So we met up and everything was fine until we sat down and started communicating. It wasn’t long before I started noticing something very odd about his demeanour.

I noticed this guy was looking where my eyes were going. It was such a quick reflex. It caught me totally off guard. His eyes were literally darting back and forth, all over, towards any subtle eye movement I made. Not even just his eyes, his whole body was abruptly moving in the direction he saw my eyes and or body were focusing on, no matter how briefly.  It reminded me of how a dog might follow a treat when in training mode.

I know I do ordinary body language. I mean, I’m not really that big of a hand talker, certainly not more than the average person. It really wasn’t like I was moving my hands everywhere. It was more about my head movement. If attention was what a girl wanted, this guy was on my every move, lol. Not just subtly, but dramatically! His head moved towards every direction even my eyes went! You know when you’re thinking about something and you’re talking about it, your eyes move normally. This guy was watching and responding to my regular eye movements! It wasn’t even like I was concentrating on anything particular, just like looking up when you’re thinking about things and maybe down when you’re concentrating on something. He was extraordinarily sensitive and respondent to my every sensory output, literally jolting in response to every single time I moved. He wasn’t acknowledging his behaviour either, but his eyes and whole body were following everything.

I felt him responding to my every move, my every eye movement, my every motion. He picked up on every physical characteristic of my body language, most that nobody else would even sense or acknowledge. He was keenly aware and responding, whether voluntarily or involuntarily to every emotion too I physically expressed that most people would likely not even be aware of.

He told me he had grew up in a compromising situation and didn’t have a normal childhood which I don’t feel comfortable about going into. He told me about much which I can’t repeat here. I may have been a bit more responsive if he came out and talked about his obvious involuntary movements, but he didn’t. I still don’t know what that was all about. I felt for the guy but in the end result it wasn’t a match.

Looking forward to using Dating Tees to help me make my future happen.
